Receiving, Unloading, and Inspection Procedures:

Bossltg Products are shipped pre-tested and ready to put into operation. Light Tower Products may come with Floodlights separately package. When receiving make sure that the correct number of Floodlights are being received.

Bossltg Products feature Forklift and Center point lift provisions for unloading and loading. Before attempting to lift any unit, make sure that the Product is secured for lifting. Some products will have securing pins (Light Towers). Products can be lifted by using a suitable lifting device, approved for lifting. Always check lifting capacities to insure maximum safety allowances.

IMPORTANT:

Exercise extreme caution during the unloading process. Keep all Non-essential personnel clear of the lifting area. When using a forklift be sure that the required reverse alarm system is functioning.

Always inspect Products immediately for shipping damage. You must NOTE any damages on the shipping documents in order to validate any freight damage claims with carrier. Never sign shipping documents until you have confirmed all damages with carrier. If you have questions on this procedure call factory representative while freight carrier is still present.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Match Factory Packing List components with Carriers Bill of Lading.

Inspect each Product on Packing List with Carrier Personnel present.

Make Special effort to inspect any attached components to Products for damages. (Jacks, Winches, Brake Lighting, Floodlights, Tires, Fenders, etc.)

Note any Paint damage.

To insure that Freight Carrier will take responsibility for damages that they are directly liable for, all damages must be noted and acknowledged by receiver and carrier at time of delivery.
